My husband and I didn't know this family until we got to their house for the first time. When we got there, my husband recognized the mom as his neighbor when he was little. He's good friends with her siblings and parents! Talk about a small world!!

There is a killer barn about a block away from where this family lives. I had no idea that such barn would be located in the middle of Centerville!! I'm really happy they suggested it as the location for their photo shoot!

Even though it was an one hour session, I'm still amazed how well the kids behaved for the pictures. Even their cute 4-year-old boy did a great job!!! Don't you think they're just beautiful people?!!

I knew this family in Taiwan when I was 14!!! We hadn't really seen each other for the past 10 years. A family member in Taiwan called me one day and said that she would like to book a session for the Gao Family. I was just so confused!!! I didn't even know that this family was here in UT! Anyway, it was fun seeing this family again and meeting their 2 boys!! We were able to finally catch up with each other, but sadly, they're moving back to Taiwan. I hope they enjoy their life in Taiwan!! I also hope that it won't be another 10 years til we meet again!!!

I had never seen such a windy day in Utah! On the day when we had the session, it was as cold and as windy as you could imagine. We were all surprised!! This cute couple and their daughter are our good friends. They flew all the way back from Taiwan for Christmas, and took the time to have me take their pictures. I'm so grateful that they gave me the opportunity to shoot their family photos in such short period of time. The session wasn't long, but we all had a blast!

This cute family is from California. They came to Utah for Christmas. Apparently, Utah is way too cold for them. Poor kids, when I was shooting, they were just shaking. Hot chocolate and handwarmers were just not enough for them. So we spent half of the session indoors. My husband and Christine helped a lot and were able to get the kids' attention, and by the time we were done, Sammie and Ryan became good friends! It was really fun getting to know them! Thanks to Christine for letting us meet her 2 families and friends.

I love challenges! When the Auns called and booked a session for Dec. 22nd, I was thinking how we could make it work if it snowed really hard that day!! They originally wanted to do it outdoors, but due to the weather and their daughter's schedule, we decided to do it indoors this time!! With the limited light in the building, I think we did well this time!! :)

My 2nd Cavaness family! Thanks to Christine, I got to know this beautiful family!! I had a blast shooting their pictures. Can you believe this place is just 20 seconds away from their backyard?!!! How lucky it is to have an awesome place for pictures and for the kids to play in the future!!!!

How interesting is that? If you don't have any kids or pets, your family pictures will always look like engagement photos! It was my first experience to shoot a family with 2 dogs! Man, that was fun! They were just so obedient, you could totally see how well they're trained! Hmm.. after shooting their pictures and watching them play, sigh...their cuteness and sweetness totally convinced me to have dogs!!! Anyway, I'll see when it'll happen!
